I get some good news recently.
At the beginning of April, a friend of mine posted a tweet about how Booknest.eu was looking for reviewers. For those of you who may not know, Booknest is one of the top review sites in the writing community; home of the Booknest Fantasy Awards and one of the ten blogs that act as judges in the Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off (#SPFBO).
After a couple of days of self-doubt, I finally decided I would put in an application. After all, what was the worst that could happen? I’d find out that they didn’t like my reviews.
Last week I got word that I’d been accepted.
While I haven’t started yet (probably some time in June, unless someone changes their mind), by accepting, I committed myself to producing three reviews per month. So, going forward, the majority of my reviews will be posted there instead of here.
What that means is that I’ll have to re-organize my posts here. I don’t quite know how I’m going to do that but I dare say we’ll find out.
Congratulations!
