Goodbye 2020, Hello 2021.
Well, that was a year.
I’m not going to belabour anything by recounting all the unexpected pitfalls last year served up. And I don’t expect everything to magically get better just because we’ve flipped to a new calendar. I fully anticipate a lot the headaches will carry over.
But a new year is an appropriate point of renewal so, time to start thinking of ways to make 2021 a better year.
One thing that I know I have to do is to take better care of my health, both physical and mental.
Another is to do everything I can to make myself a better writer, whether that be in terms of blog posts (and yes, I am considering this one a start on that), reviews for my column at Booknest, or fiction. I will admit that that is something I’m still working out how to go about but I think step one is realizing that it’s more about the journey.
Anyways, I think that’s all for the time-being. Hopefully it won’t be long until the next time.
