Home of Drew's thoughts and writings.
July was a bit of an unusual month.
I’ve been working on my first draft of House in Exile on and off for a while now.
Another month, and the second round of #authorconfessions. So, much as I did last time, here’s a round-up of my answers.
Well, January was a bit of a mixed bag, at least as far as my goals went. I’m not entirely happy with the way things panned out but I do feel relatively good about at least some of the results I got.
As I said during my post at the beginning of the month, I’ve been taking part in #AuthorConfession on Twitter. And now that we’re just about done, here are my collected answers.
I did say I’d be doing some January specific goals, didn’t I?
As I said in my goals for 2017, I want to try taking part in more interactive writing challenges and the like. So, to get things off to a good start with that, I’ve got two on the go for January.
Now normally, I’d use the first post of the month to lay out my goals for the month ahead. But I’m going to take advantage of this being the first post of the new year and set a few general goals for 2017.
Since I’ve been working on the plot outline for House In Exile, I’ve been thinking about what are going be some of the major plot elements.
Like I said in my last post, one of my goals for this month, and for getting myself back on track with the series, is to make myself a proper plan/outline/structure for House in Exile.
