It’s been a good while since I did a goals post; four months to be exact, so I suppose you could say I’m overdue. At the same time, we are closing in on the end of 2018, and I’m coming off a month or so of self-imposed exile, so I’m a little wary. My thinking right now has more to do with setting up the next year than just scrambling to claim some kind of achievement for 2018.

I’ve already taken the first step, and moved to having my own domain. It’s something I’d been considering for a while and some Black Friday discounts sealed the matter.

I also want to reorganize a bunch of folders on my computer, since I’ve probably got pieces of writing and the like spread over 3 or 4 different places. This may sound like more procrastination and maybe it is but it’s something that’s jiggles at me every time I go looking for a file and can’t find it.

Of course, that will tie in with my next goal which will be to get all my notes and fragments organized into some kind of cohesive manner.

I should also re-evaluate my commitments; my to-read & to-review lists, themed blog posts and social media presence, then decide what to prioritize. I have some books on those lists that keep getting pushed down the list, which doesn’t seem fair to the authors.

I should also probably try to get some actual writing in there somewhere….
